Throughout my new three-book Easter romance series, EASTER IN HALLSTON, a number of Easter-related dates occur and gifts are exchanged between my main characters. The top 7 to get you in the mood for romance this Easter are: 1. An adult Easter egg hunt. Though this occurs in the books as part of the annual town Easter celebration. You could organise your own in your back yard (or around the house) for that one special adult in your life. Why should the kids have all the fun - and chocolate? 2. An Easter fair. Following on from number 1, many towns and cities have special fetes, fairs, markets, and gala events for Easter. Have a look on your local council website for those near you and take your special someone along. 3. An Easter drink. In EASTER LOVE CONNECTION (Book 1), Nathan introduces Lucy to an Easter drink his family developed called “Easter Surprise”. Why not have a hand at creating your own romance-themed drink for your loved one? Be sure to include chocolate! 4. A Gourmet picnic. Gourmet picnics are a relatively new concept that involves a company preparing and delivering picnic food to you. Some businesses even take care of the set up and clean up. Whether it’s day or night, try out this unique idea for your sweetheart. 5. A Restaurant voucher. Everybody has a favourite meal and some restaurants will let you pre-purchase food and drink vouchers. This is what happens in Book 2 in the series (EASTER LOVE MATCH). Why not gift your love with a voucher to their favourite place for a special Easter date? Or, you could arrange it for somewhere they have always wanted to visit. 6. An Easter gift hamper. Have you ever sent somebody a gift hamper? Many hamper companies have a section that caters to Easter-themes. There are different sizes and costs and even baskets tailored to specific audiences. 7. A Ferris Wheel. Many cities and towns have a type of Ferris wheel or ride that looks out over the city. In EASTER LOVE REUNION (Book 3), Pippa and James ride “The Wheel of Brisbane” (aka “The Eye”) as one of their reunion dates. If you are looking for a unique way to woo your ex this Easter, you could give this a go. Do you have anything you can add to the list? Wishing you all a happy, romantic, chocolate-filled Easter, A.K. :-)
